While Coronavirus has put many people out of work – it’s business as usual for the NFL owners. Recently, the NFL owners announced they would be voting on a resolution to allow teams to choose to take a 4th and 15 from their own 25-yard line in lieu of an onsides kick. Per NFL research, only 12.7% of onside kick attempts were recovered in 2019. 4th and 15 attempts have a success rate of around 17%. With all that in mind, we wanted our audience’s thoughts on the matter – and an overwhelming majority appear to favor not making a change.
56% of respondents said they think the change would be bad for football.
