These results should come as no surprise: As the son of famed defensive coordinator Monte Kiffin and former head coach of the NFL’s Oakland Raiders, Lane Kiffin is a household name.
However, don’t be too quick to judge. At North Carolina State, Drinkwitz led a high-powered offense, helping Quarterback Ryan Finley post 10,501 passing yards. As Head Coach of Appalachian State, Coach Drinkowitz had a record of 11-1. This resulted in a Sun Belt Conference championship in a lopsided win over Louisiana. So, the jury is still out on this one.
