Through 5 games – the World Series has been a nail-biter. The Los Angeles Dodgers took an early lead and won big in Game 1 before being stunned by the Rays’ dominant win in Game 2. Going into Game 3, the biggest sluggers for each team – Mookie Betts for the Dodgers and Brandon Lowe of the Rays had both posted huge games, featuring 2 runs a piece in their respective wins.
So, we wanted to know: Which player do you think would leave the Series having hit the most runs? It appears that Mookie Betts is the clear favorite.
While Betts has been chosen by our audience as the clear favorite, Lowe is still very much in the running. With The Rays looking to extend the series with a Game 6 win, Betts and Lowe are tied at 3 runs a piece.
In typical World Series fashion, the leading sluggers for the year aren’t leading their respective teams, with Randy Arozarena and Kevin Kiermaier leading the Rays at four runs each. Corey Seager leads the Dodgers with seven runs.
